Our multidisciplinary team combines expertise in engineering, healthcare, education, finance, food safety, community development, and strategic planning to design practical solutions that create lasting impact.

Founder & Technical Innovation Lead

Founded Lusuku Empowerment VZW with the vision of connecting expertise from Belgium and Uganda to create sustainable community development initiatives. A certified engineer and professional welding technician based in Belgium, he leads the organisation's strategic direction, engineering initiatives, partnerships, and long-term development projects while promoting practical solutions that improve lives.

👤 Aisha Mariam Nyanzi

Founder & Community Health & Outreach Coordinator

A licensed nurse committed to improving community health through education, preventive care, and outreach programmes. She coordinates Lusuku's health initiatives, supports maternal and child health awareness, and helps develop projects that promote healthier and more resilient communities.

👤 Julius Senkindu

Founder, Lusuku CBO Uganda | Financial Literacy Lead

Leads Lusuku's Ugandan community programmes and oversees financial literacy and enterprise development initiatives. With a strong background in banking and finance, he supports families and young entrepreneurs through practical training in budgeting, savings, entrepreneurship, and sustainable income generation.

Director, Lusuku CBO Uganda | Community Engagement Coordinator

Viola coordinates Lusuku's grassroots activities in Uganda by working closely with local communities, volunteers, and partner organisations. She helps ensure that every project responds to real community needs while strengthening local participation and ownership.

UK Liaison & Fundraising Coordinator

Based in the United Kingdom, Maria leads Lusuku's fundraising, donor engagement, and partnership development. She connects the organisation with supporters across the UK and international diaspora while helping expand opportunities for sustainable funding and collaboration.

Food Safety & Quality Lead

A food technologist and microbiologist with expertise in food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance. He guides Lusuku's nutrition and food safety programmes, helping communities adopt safer food practices that improve health and household wellbeing.

👤 Rogers Ssekamatte

Economic Policy & Strategic Planning Advisor

An economist specializing in evidence-based development and strategic planning. He advises Lusuku on programme evaluation, policy development, impact measurement, and sustainable growth to ensure every initiative delivers meaningful community results.
