Founded by Benard Tony Muwanga, a certified engineer and specialist in destructive materials testing, Lusuku was established with a vision of creating sustainable, community-driven impact in both Belgium and Uganda.
Working in close partnership with Lusuku Empowerment CBO Uganda, we combine local knowledge with international collaboration to design practical solutions that strengthen families, promote self-reliance, and improve quality of life.
We believe that lasting change begins when people are empowered with the knowledge, skills, opportunities, and confidence to shape their own future.
To build resilient, self-reliant communities where every individual has access to opportunities that promote dignity, equality, education, health, and sustainable livelihoods.
Our mission is to empower vulnerable individuals and families through community-led initiatives in health education, vocational skills, financial literacy, youth development, women's empowerment, engineering innovation, food safety, and mental well-being.
By working hand in hand with local communities, volunteers, professionals, and development partners, we create sustainable programmes that respond to real needs and produce lasting impact.
Lusuku Empowerment brings together professionals from diverse disciplines who volunteer their expertise to strengthen communities through practical, sustainable solutions.
